It’s “capitalism” when the State prints $2.2 trillion & gives it to private interests. “Late Capitalism” they say. Seems pretty self-evidently a form of Bourgeois Socialism to me…

I think the issue is that the vaguely defined “socialist” cannot acknowledge that there can be a “socialism for the rich” & not just in theory, but in practice. “That’s not socialism” they say, but they wince.

“That’s capitalism”— as if in the era of Capitalism the State could just summon $2.2 trillion in gold bullion & distribute it by fiat.

They gave the game away a long time ago— “capitalism” is now a socialized good— to “save capitalism” requires State planning, & “saving capitalism is in the public interest”— this is bourgeois socialism.
