So why, after the Kali Yuga or the Iron/Dark Age, does the Satya Yuga or the Golden Age come? This order is explicitly mentioned in the Hindu texts...

Many modern interpretations suggest that this is not the case and that the ages progress from Satya Yuga (Golden Age), Treta Yuga (Silver Age), Dvapara Yuga (Bronze Age), and Kali Yuga (Iron/Dark Age), after which the ascent begins back to Dvapara Yuga (Bronze Age), Treta Yuga (Silver Age), and finally Satya Yuga (Golden Age).

And while I can't entirely dismiss this interpretation and will remain open-minded, let me explain my view on why the Satya Yuga, or the Golden Age, follows the Kali Yuga, or the Dark/Iron Age...

In the ancient esoteric wisdom and the religions, the start of the New Year was considered to be after the Vernal Equinox, or in spring, when everything is reborn. It is a time for resurrection, and thus spring was associated with the Golden Age. This weather is the most optimal for human survival and abundance, as it is neither too cold nor too hot.

Of the four elements, fire is associated with the Golden Age, along with the zodiac signs in the fire element, such as Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius.

Summer is associated with the Treta Yuga (Silver Age) and the zodiac signs in the element of water. Autumn is associated with the Dvapara Yuga (Bronze Age) and the zodiac signs in the element of air. Winter, or the Kali Yuga (Dark/Iron Age), is associated with the zodiac signs in the element of earth.

So, winter is the time when there is no growth; it is cold, the nights are longer, and it is associated with descent, spiritual blindness, and death.

It's not by accident that the zodiac constellations and signs are going fire, earth, air, water. Because each sign in the four seasons is telling how severe the weather is.

For example, spring starts with a fire sign, followed by earth because it is still cold. Then comes air, as the weather gets warmer, resembling the start of autumn, and finally water, as it progresses into summer.

Summer starts with water (Cancer), then it moves into fire (Leo), as it starts to get cooler. Next comes earth (Virgo), representing the coldest part of summer, and finally air (Libra), marking the transition into autumn.

And this applies to the yearly cycle and the changing of the seasons. (The photo is an Egyptian relief depicting the zodiac signs, found in the Temple of Isis.) (4/8)🧵

Now, for the long cycles of the Great Year, the zodiac signs or constellations move backward: fire, water, air, earth—or spring, summer, autumn, winter—just like our four seasons. If we choose the four cardinal signs of the Great Year as the four seasons, we can determine the reference points for which season starts with which zodiac constellation, as well as the vernal and autumnal equinoxes and the summer and winter solstices of the Great Year.

In the ancient world, in my opinion, these were associated with Leo, Scorpio (or the Serpent), Aquarius, and Taurus. I base my belief on the Sphinx, the Sumerian Lammasu, and the Mesoamerican Amaru, as they were combinations of a lion and bull, a human head with horns, a serpent with a lion's head, and a human head with wings for Aquarius, among others.

And, of course, the Cherubim Tetramorph from the Abrahamic religions represents the human, the bull, the lion, and the bird.

We can even compare this with the geomagnetic excursions and the four population resets during the Great Year. The last geomagnetic excursion, which occurred roughly 6,400 years ago, took place during the transition of the Great Year from Gemini to Taurus.

The one before, known as the Gothenburg Geomagnetic Excursion, occurred between the Age of Virgo and Leo during the Younger Dryas.

So, the four geomagnetic excursions occur when the 'seasons' of the Great Year change, depending on the slow wobble of the Earth and the orientation of the Northern Hemisphere in relation to the Sun.

I should also emphasize that every age has its own ascent and descent, or four seasons, and each great season goes through its own four stages.

Thus, the Satya Yuga, or the Golden Age, has a beginning, an ascent, and a descent into the Silver Age.

Similarly, the Kali Yuga also has four stages, and within it, there is a golden year. However, in the Great Year, after the Kali Yuga, or Winter, comes the start of the New Great Year and Spring or the Golden Age.

So, the Golden Age doesn't signify high technological development; rather, it represents a time when people are spiritually developed and connected to the divine. The weather is mild, and there is an abundance of food because it is 'spring,' the season of resurrection and renewal. But this applies only to souls that remain in the materialistic domain. As the soul evolves, there is a different Golden Age for those souls. In my opinion, the soul needs to transcend the materialistic domain rather than begin a new Great Year.

That's why I'm researching the Great Year and the 12 (+1) constellations, as I'm trying to determine which season of the Great Year we are currently in and how severe the geophysical event might be.
