I used to struggle to identify when a strong move would end or continue.

Now, if price is aggressively trending, I look for continuation through large wicks.

These indicate unfinished business and the wick will see a partial fill.

Any move away from this wick forms a strong directional bias back towards seeing a partial fill at least.
