Wow. It finally happened. We lose power at the farm on a hot sunny day and the wife called me to come hook up the Cybertruck. It’s currently running our 60 gallon bulk tank keeping the milk at a steady 34f and a whole bunch of chest freezers. I just wish the app showed the power output and an estimated remaining time based on the charge like it does with the PowerShare hardware.

The Powerwalls are on a different meter at the road and back up our farms well pump and walk in freezer, as well as our WiFi and security cameras. 😎💪

I seem to be losing about 3mi every 15 minutes. So 12mi per hour? 212mi remaining. 17.6hrs at this rate of consumption. 😮😬

Update: The Cybertruck is running our huge vacuum pump and my son is milking the cows without issue. So the truck is running a mini-split, 7 or 8 deep freezers, a vacuum pump, a 50 gallon chill tank and an 500lb ice maker at the moment. 💪💪

It’s been running things for 1 hour and 45 minutes now and I’m down to 196mi of range. May have been a little off with my estimates. This is incredible.
6
I think true consumption is closer to 14mi/hr … so I still easily have 15hrs of energy. The vacuum pump is massive. TBH I can’t believe it’s running that.
7
Oof. Cybertruck is easily gonna outlast the 2x Powerwalls AND it’s powering WAY more stuff. 💪😎
8
Now we have lost power at the house (on a different line than the farm). I definitely need more Cybertrucks.
9
Power is back so experiment has ended successfully. 😬

FWIW here’s the massive vacuum pump the Cybertruck was powering to milk the cows. While running a chill tank and a mini split for AC and an ice maker and a ton of deep freezers. 💪

One more thing. The vacuum pump I believe is itself on a 50amp breaker. It draws a massive amount of power at startup. I honestly can’t believe starting that up with everything else running didn’t trip a breaker on the truck. With 10kw gas generators I would have to cut power to other things to get the vacuum pump up and running. This is really incredible.

Welp now I feel silly. Just picked up the truck from the farm and noticed the outlets had an error. They tripped off when I plugged the truck in to charge. But when I reset them I noticed something … DOH! Had I just sat in the truck I probably could have seen how much power was being exported and maybe seen an hour estimate or something. 😂🤦♂️

@wmorrill3 any chance of having the 14-50 plug on the truck show output power / draw and an estimated time remaining like it does with the PowerShare hardware? 🙏🙏

@ExpElectric Thanks. Wanna buy it from me in 4-5 years? I’m done. 😂🤷♂️
