Izuku can't help but think that Kacchan's spending too much time at Best Jeanist's agency. Don't get him wrong, he's glad that Kacchan's working with a hero he can respect, but- he's starting to worry a little about the unintended influence the hero has on Kacchan.

It's not anything crazy, and thankfully the helmet head hair thing from the UA days didn't make a return. Izuku isn't sure he could handle that nightmare- but it's just the little things.

Well, two things if Izuku's honest. He misses Kacchan calling him 'Deku', outside of hero work. Misses when it's said as a pet name in the privacy of their own apartment.

His favorite is when a sleepy, shirtless Kacchan, sun framing his pretty face as he opens his eyes to just /look/ at Izuku. A small, soft smile, one only Izuku gets to see on his lips, and voice hoarse, but oh so soft from lack of sleep as he croaks a "Mornin' Deku."

Mornings like those are when Izuku feels especially blessed to have Kacchanin his life, and by his side.  

But since Kacchan moved to Best Jeanist's agency, he says 'Izuku' now and a nostalgic part of izuku misses when he said 'Deku'.

But the biggest change, the one that has Izuku the most concerned about how much time Kacchan's spending with Best Jeanist, is the costume change.

Now, summer or winter, Kacchan's collar has grown. High enough that if Kacchan tucks his chin to his chest, half his face is hidden.

Izuku hates that. He doesn't like that Kacchan can hide his face like that.

How else is he supposed to enjoy Kacchan's embarrassed or happy face on patrol, if he can't see it?! He likes seeing his boyfriend be expressive, and the collar just hides that adorable blushing face.

Until one day, Izuku's walking the streets on patrol, talking animatedly with another hero, when he happens to see Kacchan on his own patrol, talking to Best Jeanist outside of a store. 

Before Izuku can call out, he notices Kacchan's smiling.

It's of course hidden by the collar of his hero costume, but at this angle, Izuku can see the corners of his lips pulled up, the traces of the blush over the top of the collar. Without thinking, Izuku pulls out his phone, snapping pictures as he walks.

"-Hero Deku! Hey! Deku! W-"

Izuku turns to look at the other hero in confusion "Hmm?"

CLANG!

Izuku finds himself on his back, phone in hand, the sign post he'd just walked into vibrating to a stop after being walked into.

He doesn't even hear the other hero for a moment, nor does he see Kacchan and Best Jeanist hurrying over, having heard the noise. His head's still ringing a little from the impact.

Instead, his eyes drift to the picture he just took on his phone of Kacchan smiling into the collar of his hero costume. He can't help but smile like a lovestruck idiot at it.

Maybe Kacchan interning with Best Jeanist isn't so bad after all.
