One thing I've heard from people on the pro-Israel side of the debate in the US is that, if the protests are not crushed, Jews will be driven off campus and other parts of the country in the way they were in some parts of Europe, but that's frankly based on a total misunderstanding of what happened in Europe.

For instance, we also have pro-Palestinian protests in France, but students at elite universities reading "theory" and singing "from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free" while being terrified of bananas and mice are not the reason why Jews were largely driven off areas where many of them used to live in France.

They were driven off by uneducated Muslim immigrants and their descendants, who have very high crime rates and among whom antisemitism is relatively common. They were not acting at the behest of students 🙃 This is very unlikely to happen in the US because Muslim immigrants in the US are strongly selected on education and other characteristics negatively correlated with a propensity for violence.
