Where Dk is the top face (good guy) and Bk is the top heel (bad guy) of Enji’s top Japanese wrestling promotion. The reason for their in-ring beef? Besides the title belt? Who can have their mutual manager Shoto as their lover.

It started when All Might first put Enji’s promotion on the map and became the biggest one in all of Japan but at the height of his fame Toshinori took a long tour of the USA, so long it was over a decade in fact, and Enji never forgave him for leaving his promotion.

Enji’s son Touya took to the ring and was a rising star until a tragic accident mangled his ankle and leg to the point he would never wrestle again. Seeing this, and knowing the damage wrestling does to the other performers, Enji forbade Shoto from ever stepping into the ring.

But Shoto was still allowed to do martial arts class as a teen and there he met fellow students BkDk who both idolized All Might, and devastated the wrestler had retired before they could see a performance of his life, and they wanted to get into the wrestling scene.

Shoto knew of All Might because he was still allowed to come to Enji’s gym and brings BkDk along one day to introduce them. And BkDk insist on showing AM some of his own moves they’ve been practicing on learning on each other.

AM is impressed and says if the boys want to get into wrestling, he’ll take them under his wing and train them up, before turning to apologize to Shoto that Enji would never let AM train Shoto the same way. But that’s okay, so long as Shoto can tag along!

And so BkDk start coming to the gym and training under AM while Shoto spends more time learning how the business itself is run from his father. But he also wants to help BkDk in their performances.

And so when BkDk both debut Shoto takes the role of their manager, their handler, someone who doesn’t get in the ring but is very active from the sidelines and very involved in selling their talent’s story to the audience.

BkDk make big splash when they come on the scene and people are delighted to watch matches with them, and none more than when they are facing off against each other. Their chemistry and electricity in the ring is captivating to all who watch.

Shoto started one match by giving them both a kiss on the cheek and both BkDk made like they were jealous and offended the other got such a gift and oh they faced off and it was intense that match. But the crowd absolutely ate up this love triangle and wanted more.

It became the main story, BkDk wanted the title belt but they were also fighting over who could take Shoto into their arms in celebration at the end of a match. Shoto hammed it up by wearing increasingly skimpy outfits to the ring to sell the story, often clad in booty shorts.

Fans ate up the drama but it quickly became a rumor that BkDk were not only both out of kayfabe & in reality dating Shoto, but they were both dating each other as well. It became a common joke& was treated like an open secret more than anything, though they never did confirm it.

Then came time for BkDk to want to do a tour in America, they had signed up with an American promotion as a tag-team duo and Shoto went along with them as their manager and their “translator” (“even though we speak fine English” Bk grumbled).

It’s after a show in Vegas that Shoto convinces BkDk to hit up one of the chapels with him so they can officially tie the knot, and they do it just the three of them and not inviting any one else. They don’t need to confirm their relationship to anyone besides each other.

Eventually BkDk retire from regular ring-work (occasional guest spots still good though) and Shoto starts taking over running the company more and more, Bk starts being a trainer for the talent, and Dk helps work in Creative to plan out the storylines for the wrestlers.

In BkDk's big "last match" where they semi-retire it's a fight over who can have Shoto's hand in marriage and it ends in a draw so Shoto declares "Fine! I'll marry them both!"
