The fundamental irony of Ron Paul Maoism is that “market competition” is a public good that is produced by the State— when “private interests” control the State, they do so in order to cartelize & fix prices— the Libertarians have simply not realized that every public good is State property— this is also why China is described as “more capitalist” than America— because in China, the State enforces anti-monopoly laws & seeks to improve market competition, as a public good.

Communism is not the abolition of markets (the naive understanding of “communism” as the abolition of market activity) — Communism is the regulation of markets as a public good for the common prosperity of the people.
4
The further irony is this— without Communism, “Capitalism” (ie: the pursuit of industrial profits) destroys itself as financial capital (ie: fictitious capital) seeks to impose as many unproductive costs as the market will bear— Communism is thus “how the State saves Industrial Capitalism”
5
So when the Libertarians present their schemes to “save Capitalism from Socialism”— they’re actually describing at least hypothetically how Industrial Capitalism can be saved from “Financial Socialism”
6
The difference between Libertarians is solely between those who recognize Finance as unproductive & those who are duped into thinking Finance is productive.
