What about validating this scale? We can get some validation by looking at differences by sexual orientation.
We expect bisexuals to be hornier based on prior research, and based on common sense, we expect asexuals to be... asexual.

Now, here's where the reports get unlikely.
There's a constant gap between men and women, as we expect, but self-reported horniness rises for men to about age 40, then falls thereafter.
It should fall into older age, but the idea of it rising into middle age? Seems far-fetched!
