Kosher theatre production presents “Super plumber, tv taught Israeli pilot Yaniv Hayun,” who says he knew how to act thanks to having watched episodes of the Air Disasters TV show that investigates notable aviation crises.
Hayun tells Channel 12 that after the plane began to nosedive, he realized that nobody was in the cockpit to control the two steering levers.
So given Yaniv’s self proclaimed expertise on how to fly a plane under disaster and save the day, why didn’t he know the Skawk 7500 message for hijacking was already invoked and the uninterruptible autopilot was active?
An uninterruptible autopilot is a system designed to take control of a commercial aircraft away from the pilot, flight crew and super plumbers in the event of a hijacking!
So there’s nothing tv pilot plumber boy could have done!
Did they also teach him to take his shoes off before playing the hero acting role and the catch me if you can pilot? Did he learn martial arts and how to restrain knifemen from watching Bruce Lee movies?
Spoiler alert: they don’t wear socks when fighting! Bear foot or shoes.
