I see it this way: for Gove as for many people in the Wesr there is a hypernationalist project in Israel based on notions of ethic and cultural hierarchy that he wants the West to mimic and adopt. The Jewish people he sees as cannon fodder in that political project

So as Israel commits genocide in Gaza he insists that every Jew everywhere carries the blame for that. It’s a monstrous position. Thankfully it remains a minority position too (even as it is defended by influential people)
