Most AI websites still look mid. Here’s how to actually make them...

That’s exactly why your site looks messy and inconsistent.
Here’s what I do instead:
→ Take a screenshot of any site I love
→ Drop it into ChatGPT
→ Ask it to create a design.json that captures the layout, colors, spacing, typography
Then I tell Cursor:
“Use this design.json for styling only.”
Works insanely well.
@hiunicornstudio has beautiful 3D templates.
Just pick one that fits your vibe.
Edit the text, colors, lighting, done.
It feels like magic and gives your site that “wow” without hiring a 3D designer.
Tweak CN lets you shuffle themes and build your own ShadCN design system in seconds.
Once you like the preview:
→ Go to the “code” tab
→ Copy the CSS
→ Paste it in your project
→ Tell Cursor to use it as your base
It’s fast, visual, and gives you full control.

Don’t rely only on raw ShadCN.
I pull in premium components from:
• ReactBits
• 21st.dev
• Magic UI
Copy the component → Paste in Cursor → Ask it to place + style it right
Minor tweaks. Big results.
My go-to effects:
• Smooth hover
• Slight tilt
• Scroll fade-ins
• Glitch on hero heading
• Inertia scroll on sections
I ask Cursor to apply them section-by-section.
Keep it subtle. That’s the trick.
Use Midjourney to generate stunning background images.
Then drop them into Runway’s image-to-video tool to create dynamic visuals for your hero section.
Static looks good.
Motion looks even better.

my go-to stack now for fast, stunning landing pages: @lovable + @midjourney
did i cook? 👇
→ Choose a clean Google Font
→ Tell Cursor where to apply it (like “headings in hero only”)
→ Be specific about responsiveness:
“Make this bento grid collapse into 1 column on mobile”
Avoid vague prompts like “make responsive.”
