🧵 THREAD: HOW THE LIBS COULD HAVE WON… Today is Election Day in...

– Grocery and power prices skyrocketed
– A housing crisis
– A broken NDIS
– 1.4 million migrants dumped into the middle of it
And all they offered was a divisive, elitist Voice. 2/18
No fire. No contrast. No courage. No reminder to voters why Labor deserved to go.
And now they’re staring down the barrel of defeat. 3/18
A bold, permanent cut—not a weak 25% tweak.
Crack down on the student visa racket.
Take that message into the Labor seats that voted NO to the Voice—where the battlers are.
Those voters were ready. 4/18
They cut the fuel excise? Not enough.
Cut it entirely. Permanently.
Raise the tax-free threshold to $32,000—the poverty line.
That’s a $2,500 tax cut—10x bigger than Labor’s crumbs. 6/18
Introduce income splitting.
Boost the threshold per child.
Make the system reward parenthood and contribution.
But they didn’t go there. 7/18
No one asks how Labor pays for that.
But every Liberal tax cut needs a white paper?
They should’ve laughed and kept going. 9/18
When a UK court ruled that women are biological women, the Libs prevaricated.
They should’ve said “We agree” and declared:
– No men in women’s sport
– No boys in girls’ changerooms
– No more child gender transitions
But they said nothing. 11/18
The media raged. The PM tut-tutted. But the moment called for leadership.
The Libs could’ve said:
Veterans don’t need to be welcomed to the country they fought for. 12/18
The Liberals should’ve pledged to abolish Welcome to Country at Commonwealth meetings, ceremonies and events.
Simple. Clear. Patriotic.
But they treated it like a media crisis and ran. 13/18
– Slash immigration
– Slash taxes
– Slash bureaucracy
– Back families
– Defend women
– Fight the woke rot
But they campaigned like middle managers—not leaders. 14/18
But voters don’t vote for whisperers. They vote for warriors. And seeing none—they stuck with the devil they know. 15/18
