I agree that Democratic government is rule by midwits … but that is preferable to loons and morons.  The much better argument for Thiel to make is that university education has been debased and devalued and the selection process has been distorted—this goes beyond affirmative-action.

I feel that Thiel dreams of a technocracy—a country ruled as a corporation. Is pursuing this dream via MAGA contradictory? Or a brilliant dialectical move?
