I did not object to Trump’s announcement that student visas would be revoked for those who had engaged in illegal acts on campus. The operative word was “illegal”. Many students were arrested for breaking laws during protests and should face consequences.
Mahmoud Khalil was a permanent US resident with no arrest record and an American wife that is 8 months pregnant.
