How I Built an MVP Landing Page in 7 Prompts Using @lovable This is...

This is the approach I follow to design a landing page FAST, entirely with AI.
Here’s exactly how I did it, step by step.
I didn’t start from scratch. Instead, I looked for inspiration on Dribbble and Behance to find a landing page that matched the aesthetic I wanted.
Once I found the perfect design, I took a screenshot and moved to the next step.
I uploaded the screenshot to UI prompt generator (my custom GPT) which does the following:
Analyze the layout
Describe the color palette
Identify typography and spacing
Break down sections of the page
This gave me a detailed text description of the landing page, making it easier to replicate in Lovable.
If you want the exact prompt I used to train this custom GPT, let me know and I’ll share it.
I took the detailed description + screenshot and fed it into Lovable.
Prompt:
"Generate a responsive landing page based on this description. Maintain the structure, layout, and visual aesthetics."
The first result was surprisingly close to what I wanted. This is why I prefer @lovable, its first output is already high quality, reducing rework.
The next few prompts focused on refining the layout and adding more visual elements.
Adjusted typography for better readability
Tweaked spacing and padding
Added relevant stock images from Unsplash
At this point, the landing page was polished and ready in just a few iterations.
To take the UI to the next level, I will be making additional refinements:
- Adding Framer Motion scroll animations for a more dynamic feel
- Using MagicUI components to enhance the user experience
The client was already happy with the first draft, but these improvements will make the design even more modern and engaging.
Once the UI was ready, I connected Supabase to add backend functionality.
This included:
- Authentication for the admin panel
- Basic form submissions
- Database setup for storing user inputs
With Lovable + Supabase, these integrations were fast and seamless.
A basic admin dashboard was created using Lovable’s component generation.
- User management
- Content moderation
- Quick analytics
Since the UI was already structured, adding functionality was straightforward.
After some final adjustments, the entire MVP was done and it took less than 1.5 hours of total work.
Something that previously took days or weeks was now built in a fraction of the time.
It was amazing to see the client’s reaction. He gave me the project, and just one hour after signing the proposal, I had a fully functional landing page ready for him.
This is what an AI-driven workflow looks like.
- Faster iteration
- Less manual effort
- More focus on launching, not just building
If you’re still designing and coding MVPs the old way, you’re losing time. Tools like Lovable, Supabase, and ChatGPT are making development 10x faster.
Excited to see where this goes in the next 2-3 years.
I know many will say this is a simple landing page and nothing fancy, and that’s true. This is not meant to replace custom design by a professional UI/UX designer.
The goal of an MVP is not perfection, but speed and validation. I have built better landing pages using this same method, and I’m excited to see how this evolves further.
AI is making development more efficient, and leveraging these tools the right way can make all the difference in bringing ideas to life quickly.
