4 months ago, I had just 1,000 followers and zero clients. Today,...

Today, I’ve grown to 16K+ and have built 15 MVPs for 10+ clients, all through X.
If you’re serious about growing your audience and landing clients, here’s exactly what worked for me.
Don’t overthink it. Share what you’re building, no matter where you are in the process.
No client work? Build a personal project in public. I started with building Moodflow, and it became the foundation for my initial content.
Focus on your specialty. For me, it’s MVPs as a service.
Instead of offering general dev content, I honed in on helping others understand MVPs and sharing the journey of building them FAST.
I used ChatGPT to structure my brand strategy.
I asked it to:
- Define my tone and topics.
- Suggest content for growth.
- Help me brainstorm ideas for consistency.
The result? Focused and intentional content that resonates with my audience.
You don’t need the perfect tweet to grow; you just need to keep showing up.
I’ve been posting at least 3 times a day (sometimes up to 7-8).
It’s about frequency and building trust with your audience over time.
This is the most important.
Post lessons you’ve learned, insights that help others, or actionable advice.
These are the posts that go viral AND bring the right audience back to you.
The more value you share, the more trust you build.
Going viral for the wrong reasons might bring attention, but it won’t help you grow the right audience.
Focus on creating content that attracts the people who will stick around, not just random views.
This one is simple but effective.
Being verified helps build trust with clients and shows you’re serious about your brand.
It’s a small step that makes a big difference in the long run.
Don’t just post, interact.
Reply to others, join discussions, and add value to conversations.
Engagement builds visibility, and visibility leads to connections (and clients).
This is how I went from 1K to 16K followers in 4 months. It’s about showing up, sharing value, and staying consistent.
