In 2012 a weird form of identity politics mixed with "social justice" emerged from academia and used social media to take over of journalism, the Arts and culture industry, NGO's, Non-profits, news media, and the government; and used that power to censor the rest of society....

Then, for the next decade, anybody who thought men and women are different, believed kids can't pick their gender, or judged people by character rather than race, was driven out of our societies institutions by mobs of online social activists screaming social justice slogans.
3
A group of social activists, moral entrepreneurs, and grifters, used their dominance of our social institutions and their influence online to create what amounts to a social and economic death star that they aimed at the reputation and social standing of anyone who opposed them.
4
Worse yet, it has become obvious that much of what was dressed up as moral concern for social justice was little more then the use of "social justice" as an excuse to bully other people, or to engage in social aggression against ones social and professional rivals.
5
This same group engaged in the weaponizing of empathy, a faux concern for "the oppressed," self-righteous moralizing, over-heated rhetoric, panic about psychological safety, fear mongering about the "harm" caused by words, and various other forms of over-dramatic behavior.
6
Thy used these tactics to drag people into the deep water of over the top emotion as a way to social disorient them, induce vulnerability, and then make them vulnerable to being pressured and guilted into giving social activists whatever they wanted.

Any one who resisted...
7
the emotional and social pressure had their reputation destroyed, and anyone strong enough to avoid being guilted, or pressured, and who was willing to withstand the destruction of their reputation had their job and business threatened with boycotts and cancellation.
8
Only the people with enough social, emotional, and economic strength to survive all of that were able to make it out of such a mobbing unscathed (one thinks of Jordan Peterson, or Joe Rogan.)

Everyone else was either brought to heel, or totally socially destroyed.
9
We are now picking up the pieces and we have to figure out how to move forward without the say so, approval, or blessing of the moral entrepreneurship and social activist class because if we care, even a little, about their claims thy will use that care to manipulate us.
10
So it's time to move forward without them, and to leave them behind while ignoring their squeals and hysterics.

(I think this will be part of an upcoming book I'm writing. We shall see)
