I think we are going to be surprised at the magnitude of the backlash against wokeness. This is one of the problems with movements that censor speech: you don't know how many people you're censoring, because they can't tell you.

I hate wokeness, but backlashes are dangerous things. It would be unfortunate if this one got us Trump as president. So I hope the Democrats can admit to themselves how widespread the dislike of wokeness is. If they can, it could take the air right out of that orange balloon.
