Really depends when you think America was Founded-- if you completely write off the English Civil War & decide America fell from the heavens in 1776 then you can ignore the fact that the Revolutionary consciousness of New England Puritans was forged for centuries prior.

New England made the Revolution happen-- the Southerners joined when it became inevitable, & even then reluctantly, only with the proviso that their slaving enterprises wouldn't be immediately abolished. I think the actual founding of America is in the 17th century.

There's more of a basis in Christian Evangelism than in some sort of "Race Consciousness" -- the founding of America was more predominantly "Anti-Catholic" than "White Supremacist" -- the Puritans didn't have any racial animus, they thought the Indians were potentially Israelites (& thus, the foreground of Mormon theology).

If anything, the founding of America represents a complete repudiation of "Pan European Racial Unity" or whatever-- that's what Catholicism represented. The Puritans said "No." to that.

The only "openly racist white supremacist" types are more like Leftists than like the average MAGA conservative guy. Which is to say, a combination of lumpen, from either prison gang anarchist culture or edge lord ex-academics. Most of the white supremacists I've talked to are former left-anarchists.
