This AI Quora user has 1 million answer views this past month alone.
In other words, ~1 million people were deceived by this “fake person” (a “counterfeit human”)
That’s 1 million failed Turing Tests!
Facebook is overrun with fake AI images, and boomers can’t tell. In other words, humans are now being deceived billions of times per day, and failing billions of Turing Tests per day.
How many other AIs are out there deceiving us we don’t know about?
How many times have you been deceived recently and didn’t realize?
This is just the beginning, because AIs are capturing an exponentially greater percentage of human attention.
Current AIs are stupid and terrible at deceiving compared to what they will be in 2 years.
Already, a few dumb AIs (e.g. TikTok algorithm) decide what billions of people see each day… people mindlessly scroll for hours, letting the AIs choose what videos they watch…
