“He is not used to such things,” Namjoon nudges Jungkook with his...

Jungkook's jaw ticks, “I don't have time to handle people now, tell me what we are doing next!”
“We are taking him home,” Hoseok wipes his eyes, “let's go.”
Jungkook picks Yoongi up from Jimin's lap.
Hoseok looks at Jimin, who is still kneeling on the floor. His eyes on Yoongi's unconscious body in Jungkook's arms.
Hosoek looks at Namjoon. Namjoon looks back.
“You failed in protecting him,” Hoseok murmurs.
Hosoek gestures for Jungkook to walk, “let's go. We don't have time to waste,” he looks at Jimin, “you can come or stay. On you, Chim.”
Jungkook starts to run down the stairs, Hoseok following.
Jimin sits there, looking at the dead bodies around him. He looks at his lap. The blood warm and sticky on his pajama. His hands have traces of it.
He looks over his shoulder at the stairs where Hosoek and Jungkook disappeared.
He doesn't go. He doesn't move an inch.
Jimin pulls back, looking anywhere but at Namjoon, “you didn't know, hyung. It's okay,” he looks lost, frayed, “appa didn't either. I get it.”
“No,” Jimin shakes his head, his voice quiet, “no. Just...” he looks up at Namjoon, eyes glossy, “he won't-” his voice cracks, “it's not fetal, right? He won't-”
“He will be fine,” Namjoon nods, “don't worry.”
Namjoon notices how quiet and calm Jimin looks. He knows the omega hasn't absorbed everything that went down tonight. He knows, Jimin is not processing it.
The familiar scent might help, Namjoon thinks to himself as he guides Jimin to his room.
“He is fine,” the surgeon says, “the bullet didn't even reach the rib. You guys got him here on time. We got the bullet out and the bleeding has stopped. He will come to his senses in a few hours.”
Hoseok forces himself to not melt on the floor with relief, “thank you...”
Hoseok walks up to Taehyung, “he is fine. Come on, Tae, you can't stand here forever.”
“He deserved both of that,” Hoseok glares at the man inside the room, his heart twisting in his chest, “we were not wrong then. I am still mad at him. God, I hate him so much.”
Taehyung looks at him.
“He will be fine, right?” Taehyung wonders, “he is an asshole, but-”
“We love him,” Hoseok sighs.
Taehyung looks at Yoongi, “Namjoon hyung is there.”
Hoseok scoffs, “yeah, he did plenty-”
“He did,” Taehyung insists, “he did do so much.”
“Didn't do what hyung said,” Jungkook says, walking up to them, “he did help hyung with the plans and all, but not everything.”
Hoseok closes his eyes, “not you two again.”
Jungkook glowers, “it's actually you who get blinded. Hyung told Namjoon to keep Jimin away from that territory! He didn't listen!”
“He took him to the Parks because that's a powerful territory and Mr. Park will keep him safe! Jimin is his son!” Taehyung reasons.
Jungkook scoffs, “oh, we saw how well he did that! Even if we ignore that, second mistake, throwing the party!”
“Why would that happen when Jimin is alive and the legitimate heir of Mr. Park?!” Jungkook roars, “tell me?!”
“They had to lie about the wedding!” Taehyung hisses, “Jimin refused to help!”
Taehyung blows out a deep breath, nodding, “they had to lie about it. They tried everything, but Jimin refused the idea altogether. Vehemently. So, they had to spread the lie because, otherwise, no one would accept Namjoon as the leader.”
Taehyung shrugs, “yes.”
Hoseok gapes, “and, he didn't tell me?”
Jungkook scoffs, “do you talk to him anymore?”
Hoseok pulls at his hair, frustrated, “so…Namjoon's claim won't even stick if they come to know.”
“He also held onto his ego when hyung predicted an attack on Jimin on the night of the party,” Jungkook snorts, “he just wanted to be right.”
“There were guards,” Taehyung frowns, “what could he do if he was there anyway? He-”
“He could have taken the bullet,” Jungkook screams, pointing at Yoongi, “instead!”
Hoseok reaches instinctively, grasping at Jungkook's shoulder. Taehyung's face shows his shock.
Jungkook heaves for breath, “don't even try to take his side, I swear!”
Jungkook shoves Hoseok away, “don't! All of you went on their side. Emotionally, morally, whatever,” he gestures at Taehyung, looking at Hoseok, “I understand him saying this, his fiancé is from that side. Why you, hyung?”
Jungkook laughs, looking at Taehyung, “you did. Believe it or not. You are nothing but a backstabber!”
Hoseok winces, “oh, not this again. Please, guys!”
Hoseok hides his face into his hands, “oh, my god.”
Taehyung laughs, “I am sorry, is this your loser ass talking because I don't love you back?!”
“What are you two doing?” Jin curses, walking down the hallway, “I could hear you from the entrance!”
Hoseok blows out a breath, “hyung!” he walks right up to Jin, “oh, god, take one of them away from here. Right now.”
Taehyung snorts, “yeah, you don't. Yet you almost ruined my life-”
Jin and Hoseok share a look before Jin grabs Jungkook by the elbow.
“Come with me,” Jin forces, “you don't need to be here.”
It has been a week.
Jimin feels like not an hour has passed.
