Dugin is right that Political Theology / Eschatology is actually determinative of geopolitical positions— which is just to say that all questions of politics are determined in reference to some idealized “end state” that is prophetically disclosed & realizing itself through history. This has always been the case & all “religion” has done is mediate this ideologically through its political institutions. This is to say that Hermeneutics is determinative in human affairs. Human beings imagine themselves as existing within the context of a transcendental narrative which has a determinate end. That end, as it is imagined by them, determines their actions in the world. Thus— “psyops” are really just a continuation of things like the Inquisition, the imposition by force of specific hermeneutical dominance over populations— arguments & discourse can only go so far— if you as a Cathar in medieval toulouse understood the Antichrist to be the Pope, they’d kill you if you did not confess that this was an unpardonable error. This fact hasn’t changed, what has changed is the political situation, so the “enforced apologetics” have changed to suit the changes in imperial hegemony. America’s crusaders don’t argue in precisely the same way as Rome’s crusaders, but they fundamentally argue the same thing— that the prevailing “Rules Based Order” is ordained by God, & that opposition to it is heresy, if not blasphemy, & warrants death.

Ironically, in the dawn of Christian Zionist Dispensationalism, the European Union (Europe in general) was understood as the Antichrist opposed to the Anglo-Israeli British Commonwealth— because there was still a residual political opposition to the Catholic/European powers which were understood to be Antichrist by the Anglo-Protestants since the time of Elizabeth. The Nazis in this time were considered Papists— but after the close of the second world war, this european confederation was brought under the wing of Anglosaxonist hegemony— & so new Antichrists had to be found in the form of Communism & Islam— the Knights of Malta & former Nazis were brought to the defense of Israel— Otto Skorzeny etc. Myriad justifications & apologies have been made for this out of necessity. You now have sedevacantist templar catholic integralists who claim that the current pope is “a muslim communist” — it get really whacky!

What comes first then is the political eschatology— the Vatican played ball with the OSS as the Nazis were routed. The Popes stood up against Communism. Theological apologetics emerge after the fact— you get a sort of ecumenicism of “the western rules based order of anglosaxonist liberal internationalism” baptised now by the Papacy at the order & direction of James Jesus Angleton & William Donovan.
