God tried to stop Man from exiting the Garden of Eden into History, but he gave us the Free Will to disobey him, & told us the curse we’d have under the Satanic Godhood— which is “Work”— Endless Work to produce the New Jerusalem.

The knowledge of good & evil is not what Christ teaches— Christ teaches that God loves both good & evil— that God gives rain to the wheat & the tares.
3
The “God’s Eye View” is one of transcendental irony— God loves Satan even as he hates him— as he is “part of the plan”— a world without tensions & real conflict is not what God created— Shakespeare loves his villains as much as his heroes.
4
This is the point of Blake’s Tyger poem— the Tyger was created alongside the Lamb— God could have made a “world without predators”— but he loves them too— he loves Characters irregardless of their being “good characters” or “evil characters”
5
What God hates is “the lukewarm” who eschew their own character in order to be “good” or “evil” in some reductive form. The Pharisees were all “good guys” lacking character.
6
God let the Snake enter the Garden too— just to see what would happen— Creation is the joy of God— from God’s perspective the entirety of creation is “good”— the villains & the heroes both necessary
7
This is the Truth— & men don’t want to hear it— they want to be “good” & so become lukewarm in their evil. If they loved God they would Glory in Being Themselves, as to know oneself is to know God.
8
God doesn’t want “sneaking submission” but exuberance in action & imagination. If you were honest with yourself, you would understand why God loves Genghis Khan more than “a decent fucking person”— because you do too— I do
9
God loves Kanye & God does not love “Kanye Critics” who try to make him sneakily submit to some normative concept of “goodness”

This is my Sunday Sermon— meditate upon the Christian Humility of Attila “The Scourge of God”— & upon the Prideful false Humility of Augustine
