The right don't want to acknowledge that "White Supremacy" was a tactic of the Bourgeois during Reconstruction to psychologically manipulate working class white people into a cosmological fear of black people because they were unseating establishment candidates in the South.

There's this conception that "being racist" is "normal" but it's historically abnormal-- especially in the English speaking world-- & this form of "White Supremacy" only develops in the late 19th century by the aristocracy as a projected fear of their class death

Essentially-- the notion that "Black People are the Problem"-- is one that premises "Poor White People" as part of the same class as the Hereditary Aristocracy & Ancien Regime-- premising them even as the same race! But this is a historical novelty!

The American Revolution was a multi-ethnic uprising premised on a unified opposition against the British Empire, in which Dutch, Swedish, German, Irish, Scottish, English, even Moroccan Muslims (in South Carolina)-- fought together against the British Empire.
The Founding Fathers looked to Confucius & the Iroquois Constitution when drafting the constitution. "White Supremacy" in America was never the norm. "White Supremacy" emerges in the 1890s as the newspaper barons & industrialists begin to fear class collaboration across race.
