Stirner is deeper than Marx but Marx is more complicated. Stirner *seems* simple but isn’t— Stirner foresaw what Marxism would become “more protestant political theology” as a “mass movement”— there has never been a “stirnerist movement” because there cannot be one.

Stirner doesn’t advocate *for* anything— which is what Marx doesn’t understand in The German Ideology where he calls him a “saint” ironically— but Stirner is closer to a “saint” in the sense of “being dead to the world” while Marx is an “activist”

Stirner sums up philosophy “the ability to talk about things”— very dismissive— a quietist— he yearned for theosis— the position of God wherein “everything is your property”— & in that position, there’s nothing left to say.
