My wording in my apology was stupid. It didn't even cross my mind when I wrote it that people would misunderstand me, but that's where we're at. I mistakenly said I "pressured women into sex" when I simply meant I was forward with my advances.

Once that word was out of the bag, though, it continued to spread.
A lot of people who actively knew it was a false claim spread it anyway because of other grudges they had against me and because they wanted to see me fall, presumably.
