Earlier, China vetoed against Pakistani terrorist being named as a Global threat. India was bound to nudge China on this.

Objective was to nudge China. Once China is pissed off, and realizes it's mistake, Visa withdrawn. Objective achieved. Pls see the output.

Meanwhile, our NSA & RM were in PRC last week. Do you think, we'd fight with China over it? It's just to tame them to reality. That's it.

China & India can hate each other as much they want. But, can't fight a war against each other. Too much at stakes. Fact.

Do realize, China has it's own share of (internal) problems to fight with us. Plus, Xi's fight against corrupt / Shanghai Oligarchy.

These diplomatic maneuvers are to fool a few. Real action is happening behind stage. Against a few "old" powers. Let's see.

These are my thoughts on Sino-Indian spat over Visa for Isa. Could be wrong in a couple of minor details, but this is the overall picture.

Remember, India & China existed peacefully for 5000yrs, except couple of times. Last one being in 1962. Forget both fighting another war.

Whenever India-China were economically at par with each other, we were at peace with each other.

It's all about economics again. Both Countries will grow, but almost at an equal pace / quantity.

What this Government is doing is exactly that. a) Make China respect India's concerns. b) Grow India economically to Chinese levels.

And, with style, PM & NSA does these simultaneously. Just brilliant. Now, next time, Chinese will be forced to think of our "reactions".

Now, since the Chinese would be careful of India's reaction next time, another "Masood" veto will not be in the offing.
