Translating otokonoko, "male girl", as "femboy" is fine and makes sense.
But it's funny to act like a cultural identity where *most* adults are transfem/genderqueer (otokonoko) is somehow anti-trans (westoid "femboys") is peak westoid touristslop.
There have been multiple transfem/genderqueer ppl from Japan here on twitter giving their cultural context on this subject and how they use the term otokonoko.
And yet, westoids have conveniently ignored and silenced them to keep pushing this nonsensical cultural crusade going.
