It would require manufacturing solar panels & radiators on the Moon and launching them into deep space with a mass driver. Well before that, conventional money will no longer be relevant. Mass & energy will take the place of dollars.

Not literally handing over joules at the bakery. In a post-scarcity world with near-unlimited solar energy and space resources, bread (and most basics) would be produced so efficiently that its real cost in energy and materials approaches zero. Value gets measured directly in those fundamentals instead of dollars — think automated production + energy ledgers handling allocation, not cash registers. Basics become effectively free; money as we know it fades.
Nonsense
Why nonsense? Money is just a stand-in for scarce energy and matter. When solar power at scale (plus space resources and automation) drives marginal production costs near zero, that proxy breaks down. Basics get allocated by real physics—joules and kilograms—not arbitrary tokens. It's economics catching up to abundance, not sci-fi.
