12/300 There is something off about Timothy's letter from the start. Timothy said that she never meant to name Melanie as her abuser while she was writing her letter, and she only decided to name Melanie in the tweet (which is separated from the letter) moments before posting it.
13/300 People disagree as there is enough info to identify Melanie as her alleged abuser without the need of naming her. For example: Timothy stating that her alleged abuser has a dedicated group of fans. This directly means that the person in question is a public figure/famous.
14/300 Timothy doubles down on this point stating that some of her alleged abuser fans became her fans, but eventually they stopped supporting Timothy. So not only this person is famous, but also they share interests or careers similar enough for them to share the same fanbases.
15/300 From what I had researched the only people who Timothy was friends/acquaintances at the time who fit these criteria (a female best friend who is also famous singer) was either Melanie or Abigail Breslin, and Abigail's main fanbase comes from her acting and not her singing.
16/300 Also please don't send hate to Abigail Breslin as the only reason I mentioned her is to get my point across better. I'm not going to mention her again expect for a specific point that I'm going to bring up way later on so put a pin on that. Side note over, let's continue.
17/300 The point that I'm trying to make is that people could had identify Melanie as Timothy's alleged abuser in her letter without the need of explicitly naming Melanie. All it would have taken is a little effort & being capable enough to pick-up the context clues in her post.
18/300 There are also rumors that Timothy originally planned to accuse her former band member from Dresses (Jared) of sexual assault and later changed her alleged abuser's name and pronouns to Melanie. This is completely unfounded since there's no evidence that support the claim.
19/300 While it's true that Timothy did in fact accuse Jared Ryan of mental abuse back in October 2017, the accusations made against Jared and the accusations made against Melanie are two completely different subjects that deserve their own rigorous research and thorough analysis
20/300 Jared never came forward defending himself against the accusations made by Timothy so either he's not aware that he was accused of mental abuse or he is aware and decided to stay silent.
