#taekookau Everyone knows Taehyung as a troublemaker. So of course no one believes him when he says he is being threatened. No one except Jeongguk, the one who is known as a 'sweetheart'. But sometimes the one you least expect is the one you should fear the most!

"Jeongguk, you already know how these things work. Even if you're mad at them now, you know it's not their fault. They were wronged when they were k*lled, that energy was bound to turn them blood thirsty. They're hurting themselves by not moving on too."

"So I can't blame the angels cuz they just can help but it's not their responsibility. I can't get mad at the kids cuz it's not their fault they are like this. Then who am I gonna blame?" Guk asks. "The people that did it to all of us at the orphanage." Jin says.

Jeongguk falls silent. "I'll get some guardian angels to watch after everyone. But you're gonna do your duty because you won't just be doing the kids a favor, you'd do us all, yourself too. Those assholes are the reason we all still suffer to this day." Jin says.

Jeongguk looks away, feeling really frustrated. Jin turns and flies away. Jeongguk turns back to his human form and the emotions hit him even harder. It's so much easier to think in his angel mood, he is not as emotional. But in this form, emotions crash down again.

He walks to the other room and his heart almost drops because there is a child, standing so close to Taehyung. "Don't!" Jeongguk's tone is so harsh, Taehyung finches too. The kid disappears. "-you want some food?" Guk tries to fix it. "Chill, I'm not hungry." Tae says.

Jeongguk clears his throat. He left this room for barely a few minutes and someone snuck that close to Taehyung. Guk's theory is that they are still not strong enough to actually harm anyone but the longer Guk refuses to do this, the stronger they might get.

"What's with the face?" Tae asks. "Nothing." Guk says. Taehyung spends the rest of the day sulking and Jeongguk spends the rest of the day pretending to watch videos on Tae's laptop but actually thinking of his conversation with Jin.

He doesn't want to do any more favors for the kids but Jin is right again. The kids were not the only people who need this justice. Jin was k*lled that way too, Taehyung lived a live reliving the trauma, Yoongi went through a lot too. Hoseok too and so many more people.

Guk looks up when Taehyung's phone starts ringing. Taehyung doesn't seem to recognize the caller id. "Hello? Yes I'm Kim Taehyung. You're from the company?" Taehyung answers. Guk just watches. "Sure, okay. Alright. Good night." "The company?" Guk asks.

"They said they'll send someone to get me tomorrow so we can talk." Taehyung says. Jeongguk nods. Taehyung keeps his eyes on Jeongguk, wondering why the angel has been so silent all day. He assumes it's their 'sort of' argument from before and goes to cook for himself.

Jeongguk gets up too the moment Tae does. "Where are you going?" He sounds alert. "To the kitchen." Tae mumbles and Guk is already walking to the kitchen. "You know I can fetch something for myself." Taehyung says, grabbing some instant noodles.

"Nope." Guk takes them from him. "You're having some real food." "It IS real food." Taehyung argues. "You're not my dad nor my husband, stop acting like this." Jeongguk stands still. Taehyung can't help it. He thought giving himself some time off would cool him down. It didn't.

The silent has actually made him feel worse. He doesn't like being like this with Jeongguk at all. "Did I do something?" Guk asks. Taehyung didn't expect the question to hurt his heart, but it does. Because the frustration is fully from Tae. Guk didn't even do anything wrong!

And here he is, quickly thinking that he must have done something. He sighs and turns to Jeongguk. "No, it's nothing you did. Things are just getting a little too much." Taehyung says. Jeongguk licks his lip. He can only assume. Even as an angel, it's too much for him.

He knows that he can't tell Taehyung about his new decision. Knowing that there are kids trying to get to him is just going to torture him like how Jeongguk did before. Plus, Tae wouldn't understand that Guk actually did want to keep his promise.

The reason he would do it is not because he is choosing the kids over everything. He would not get it. It would just hurt him more. He has already been through enough, especially because of Jeongguk. Guk is not going to let anything hurt him again.

There are a lot of things he wants to do to comfort him but he still doesn't want to overstep. So he just pulls Taehyung in a hug. Taehyung doesn't fight it. He actually relaxes in the hug and hesitantly hugs him back. "It's gonna be okay." Guk whispers.

Taehyung pulls away and looks into his eyes. He really hated the tension between them today. Maybe he was overthinking it all? So what if Guk asked him out? So what if he would want to say yes? It's his life. Right or wrong, he feels peaceful when Guk is with him.

He thinks, fuck it. Let's just do what feels right so he holds Jeongguk's hoody and tilts his head to lean and kiss him. But Jeongguk actually leans back. The action is very confusing to Taehyung. So what? Jeongguk is not even going to kiss him anymore?
