a-ning has seen him a few times; he's the only man who has ever caught a-ning's attention. but he always looks away when they make eye contact because the man's so handsome with his dark violet eyes and dimpled smile. he thinks the man's just being nice and leaves it at that.
but what he doesn't know is that the man watches him until he gets off the train. glares daggers at anyone who even dares to think of approaching a-ning. the last man who tried ended up beaten half to death, tossed in an alley somewhere. the people on the train know they can–
