In a sound program, it all starts with GPP.

GPP is about movement variability. You’re exposing the athlete to a wide range of movements:

unilateral work
coordination
dynamic flexibility and mobility
calisthenics
aerobic development and general fitness.

This builds the base.

It preps the athlete for higher-intensity training and makes the next phase more effective.

From there, you typically move into accumulation, more volume, higher intensity. You might start layering in:

short sprints
more intense weight training
Ramp up jumps & plyometrics

Next is intensification or max strength where the weight room intensity increases, plyos become more advanced, and sprinting gets more intense.

Eventually, you taper or shift into competition prep.
