This should be obvious. Take women out of the home, put them in school until 18, then college, then work - no time for babies.

Other factors contribute, I'm sure, but imo feminism is a leading cause, if not the leading cause. People who write papers on the Demographic Transition only ever mention feminism to demand more of it, claiming that it somehow *solves* declining fertility.
