MOLD: A silent cause behind your health issues.

Fortunately, there are several tools we can use to directly bind and eliminate their toxins.

Here's 5 of the most useful (๐Ÿงต1/7):

#1 Humic acids

These are materials formed from organic matter decomposition, and it's found in shilajit.

This study showed that including them in the diet could both bind and prevent the liver cancer from a common food mycotoxin, aflotoxin B1.

Typically dosing starts at 100 mg.

#2 Bentonite

This is a clay substance that is highly efficient at binding to mycotoxins.

This paper showed ~50% reductions in key mycotoxins along with reduced organ damage.

Doses are higher, 500+ mg.

#3 Activated charcoal

This is the gold standard, with the highest binding effectiveness.

This was a dissertation review on the binding capacity of multiple types of binders on several mycotoxins,

AC comes on top by a longshot.

This might be dosed up to several grams per day depending on the situation.

#4 Fiber

This is an easy one - including more insoluble fiber in the diet has been shown to reduce mycotoxin absorption.

This paper showed notable drops in ochratoxin levels in various tissues from including wheat fiber in the diet.

#5 Probiotics

Yes, surprisingly bacteria themselves have structural components that can reduce absorption of mycotoxins.

โ—‡ Lactobacillus
โ—‡ Bifidobacteria
โ—‡ Saccharomyces

types can all bind and reduce their toxicity, though it will be dependent on the type of mycotoxin.

IMPORTANT:

1. Not all mycotoxins are created equal. Each type has its own set of tools that can help bind.

2. Most of these binders can also bind nutrients. It is important to take them away from food for this reason.

3. You should understand if you truly have a mycotoxin issue prior to initiating.
