I switched to entrepreneurship 5 years ago It's the best career move I've ever made. If you want to begin today, here is a roadmap:

1. Don't quit your job yet Quitting is a moon shot and we'll make you desperate, anxious and needy. Use your job to bankroll your business for now.

2. Start with a service Not SaaS, not a newsletter, not digital products. The best offer is the one that's most likely to produce results for people. Those results matter because they become your early testimonials and case studies. And that proof is what makes you sales.

3. Build a business around an existing skill Pivoting to a new industry or skill and starting a business makes no sense. You need the skill first. Then you can sell it as an offer. People don't buy high ticket from unproven amateurs. Don't be so f*cking naive.

4. Sign your first client Make the first goal easy to hit or you'll overwhelm yourself. Anyone can sign one client. Even you. Make the pricing lower than normal at the start to hit the goal sooner. Landing your first client completely changes how you think. And that confidence at the start is the momentum you need.

5. Start posting content to social media Without attention you don't have leads. And no leads is the fastest way to have no business. On social do this: • Share your worldview • Share your beliefs • Educate people • Comment/like/quote-post

6. Test an auto-DM lead magnet A lead magnet is a high value giveaway that solves a small problem for someone. Post one on social and when you find a winner, then pay to boost it. This will give you plenty of leads.

7. Start conversations with every follower Then if it makes sense get them on a call to discuss working with you. Conversations lead to high ticket sales. You can't automate this despite what the gurus say (they're full of sh*t)

8. Scale to $10K a month for 3 months in a row Now you have proof and traction. It's time to decide if you want to leave your job. Remember: you can always get another job.

9. Quit your job politely (In case you gotta go back) Aim for a short notice period and divert all your attention right away to your new business. If you want to be bold, attempt to sell stuff to your colleagues or former customers.

10. Start outsourcing You can't hit $500K more on your own. You'll need help. Outsource to Claude, VAs, closers, DM setters, etc.
