A Palestinian villager encountered Israeli cattle and fabricated a story about how Israel has been secretly training the cattle to spy on Palestinians, according to Palestinian Media Watch citing the official Palestinian Authority daily news outlet Al-Hayat Al-Jadida. "These are recruited and trained cattle, Palestinian villager Rushd Morrar reportedly told the daily. Palestinian officials accused the IDF of weaponizing trained rats to invade Gaza and attack Palestinian children in a series of reports last week, marking the latest in a series of animal-related conspiracy theories directed against Israel.
