@1059kanri「幕末」になんで幕府が朝廷権威に頼るようになったかというと、「開国」によって日本中に巻き起こった高インフレと疫病の大流行に幕府は有効な対策を打てず、政権として「民心」をほぼ失った為であり、そこが解らないと幕府に反抗した長州が何であんな人気があったのかも解らない。

@1059kanri禁門の変で皇居に向かって攻撃し京の町を焼いても、庶民層の多くは長州こそ自分たちの立場に立って戦ってくれた勢力だと認識していたわけです。故に長州追い落としに加担した薩摩などへの人気は急落し、その事が後の「薩長同盟」にも繋がるわけですね。要は世論における幕府の政策への圧倒的不信任です
