The Yonex M&G with Chiharu Shida 🇯🇵 is quite a disaster. Fans were already gathering before the 2PM queue, not sure which side to stand to have a chance to meet her. Out of a sudden, someone yelled at the line that started the queue and there was quite a ruckus. #PMO2026
The Popov brothers are next, and since the queue to meet Chiharu Shida is already cut off at the first-50 limit, the next line has already begun, even though it is still hours away.
My suggestion to Team Yonex is, perhaps, increase the number of participants for the M&G but of course after obtaining the consent from the players. With the number of people at Axiata Arena, allocating only 50 people is seemingly extremely limited.
Queue wise, I'm pretty sure the organizers know how well the fans are. Maybe an earlier information informing the start of the queue can be given, and arrange some staff to have crowd control is preferrable.
Two things to take note of when you are in Axiata Arena attending #PMO2026 or subsequent future events: 1. Make sure you display the parking payment receipt if you park at the premium spot. 2. Please don't wash your feet at the children's sink in the washroom - it's disgusting.
