/25 Did the fact that Kevork mentioned @tulsiGabbard ,the islamophobic zionist, as a"sane voice" not raise any red flags to you?? (especially since you called his analysis "spot on"). @propandco is a crap analyst. Here's a debunk of @KevorkAlmassian & @propandco 's claims.🧵 x.com/propandco/stat…

/ @propandco always takes his news from atrocity apologists. Kevork has been simping for Assad's regime during its torturous rule. He's an islamophobic bigot supporting far right parties in Germany. I'm not surprised you do tho, since you constantly placate to your Asadist base.

/ James Jefferey's openly said that when HTS leadership tried to reach out to him (HTS tried to explain that they're not transnational jihadists but their sole fight was the regime) he ignored it. You can find this in the documentary called "The Jihadist" by @MartinSmithDocs

/ Al-Sharaa was never cofounder of ISIS. He had ties with Baghdadi until their feud, but never co-founded the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. Jabhat Al Nusra was a separate entity. This is widely known.

/ There's absolutely no evidence that jolani was recruited at bucca and The islamic state in Iraq had wealth to fund al Nusra and later vice versa. This is before their blood feud occurred.

/ A PBS documentary explains the extent in which the CIA backed the Syria rebel groups. Many of them were given weapons provided that they only fought ISIS, As Obama didn't want to antagonize Russia by allowing these rebel groups to fight Assad. pbs.org/wgbh/frontline…

/ Operation timber sycamore was used to funnel weapons to secular leaning groups most notably members of the Hazzm movement. (Their main objects were more to spy on jihadi groups for the CIA) Jabhat Al-Nusra under Sharaa, fought these groups and eliminated them.

/ The U.S coalition has bombed what they claimed was "alqaeda" in idlib killing civilians. Here is an example: forensic-architecture.org/investigation/…

/ Jolani, under HTS strategically aligned himself with Turkey to fly under the radar and avoid antagonizing western powers. By focusing on the regime rather than global conflict, CENTCOM would still attack Joulani and his men but maintain a lower level of aggression.

/ I wrote an important thread on why al sharaa is visiting unsavory ppl (to say the least) below. There can be legitimate criticism, but you can't blame him for inheriting a political reality in which his main enemies were formerly Russia & Iran. 👇🏽 x.com/i/status/19878…

/ He is also doing this in order to leverage his relationship with the U.S , so he can get the U.S backed SDF to integrate within the Syrian Government (A major thorn to Syrian unity). x.com/i/status/19887…

/ The Syrian gov. is leveraging relations with diverse states to expand opportunities & strengthen strategic partnerships. It engages Russia, China, (both backed Assas) & America to balance influence & explore strategic options. x.com/i/status/18930…

/ Examples: The Minister of Defense, Engineer Marhaf Abu Qasra, received in Damascus a high-level delegation from the Russian Federation headed by the Russian Deputy Minister of Defense, Mr. Yunus-Bek Yevkurov. Al-Sharaa also met Putin. x.com/i/status/19906…

/ Examples cont. x.com/i/status/19815…

/ al-Sharaa is now exerting diplomacy on all sides, including (Russia & china) and even has extended a hand to Iran (which they have bitterly opposed for now because of their sore loser mentality), facts which u fail to mention @propandco x.com/i/status/19887…

/ There was no deterrence posture against Israel when Asad sold the golan heights and when syria/iranian militias were holding the border to the golan for years. There were no fortifications, no tunnels, only harassing syrian citizens and getting rich off captagon drug trade.

/ Syria is more united than when it was under Assad during the civil war, with majority syrians supporting the new syrian government, despite its many flaws. A large reputable survey taken by Syrians support this 👇🏽 x.com/i/status/19318…

/ Under Assad we saw; -HTS in idlib -SNA in the north -sdf in the east -Israel in the golan heights -The iranian/russian backed assad regime (towards the tail end of the revolution) controlling the main cities of Syria, with corruption and murder rampant.

/ Now it's: -the new Syrian gov. controlling the majority of the country -Druze infighting in suwayda -Israel in the golan & quneitra -SDF in the east( Moving towards integration with the new gov. Under Assad, SDF & Assad/iranian militias worked in tandem w/ eachother.)

/ The country needs work but already we see its less fragmented than before and there is finally a sense of national unity, Here's another recent survey of polled Syrians: foreignaffairs.com/syria/what-syr…
