4. You think about business like getting a college degree. You believe there's a magical 12-step process and if you follow the rules you own a business. Sorry, there's no magical formula. Every business is different. There's no fixed path. The market changes daily. One algorithm change can bankrupt you. The only way is to take action.
5. You want a business where you set it up then walk away and earn passive income This is an immature view of the world. It's a p0rn fantasy. People selling you this dream are turning you into their passive income. It's a pyramid scheme. Real businesses require work. Forever.
6. You want the path to be certain But success in business requires you to embrace uncertainty. It makes the journey fun too. A job looks certain until you account for layoffs. Now, you realize the whole world is uncertain. Trade certainty for an unpredictable life
7. You think you need to change careers Wrong. Most people are better off taking their existing skills & experience and turning that into a business instead of.... Doing something like ghostwriting that you have no clue about.
8. You don't focus Instead you chase shiny objects. You consume too many emails. You drown in information. You look for the magical formula instead of just starting and figuring it out as you go 4 hours a day in a flow state with no notifications, calls, or messages will change your life.
