This is my personal ranking of resisted sprint methods. Personally, I use the motorized device the most. After that, hill sprints, sleds, and even chains are my go-to tools. The others get used more sparingly. If I bring in the prowler, it’s usually for marching, conditioning,


or teaching positions and angles rather than true sprinting. But honestly, the ranking isn’t the point. What matters most is why you’re using it and what you’re looking for when you do. Not everyone will have access to a motorized device or even a sled and that’s fine.
