RFK Jr. pledged reforms to the regulations surrounding organ donations after HHS uncovered disturbing practices in hospitals where organs were being taken from individuals who were still alive. This policy change aims to restore dignity and ethical standards in organ harvesting protocols, addressing deeply concerning procedural failures.

RFK Jr. and USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins approved SNAP waivers for six additional states, bringing the total to 11. These waivers mean that taxpayers will no longer be subsidizing junk food purchases in states like Florida, Texas, Louisiana, Colorado, Oklahoma, and West Virginia. Adding to prior approvals in Utah, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, and Nebraska.

RFK Jr. announced BARDA will terminate approximately $500 million in federal investments in mRNA vaccine technology development. He criticized mRNA’s effectiveness against rapidly mutating respiratory viruses and warned that mass mRNA vaccination may contribute to viral mutations and prolonged epidemics.

Cheryl Hines, known for Curb Your Enthusiasm and as RFK Jr.’s wife, announced her upcoming memoir, Unscripted, set for publication on November 11.

Alongside Secretary Rollins, RFK Jr. pledged to overhaul the federal dietary guidelines, calling the current 453-page document unnecessarily long and bloated. He vowed to deliver a streamlined, modern set of nutrition standards aimed at benefiting schoolchildren, with the release expected in early fall.

RFK Jr. announced the repeal of a Biden-era policy that paid hospitals and doctors to vaccinate staff and report vaccination rates. He said the program pressured clinicians to go against their medical judgment. Under his leadership, those payments have been eliminated through changes to the CMS Inpatient Payment Rule, which he called a victory against shame-based enforcement.
