Lois is always moving 1 billion miles per hour, and knows Superman is the only possible person she could start a family with. But he's too busy prancing around with the bald guy
Superman had his family destroyed twice, on Krypton and when the Kent's died. So to avoid the pain of losing his family a 3rd time he plays with the bald guy all day, trying to tap into his inner child to ignore the pain
The 3 come up with an incredible plan to open Superman's heart to pain. Krypto goes on a rigorous journey to learn the ways of romance, as a way to open up his masters heart to love Krypto good boy
However a bunch of cats show up to stop this. Lois Lane #1 Lois is a witch, cats are associated with witchcraft. These cats were manifested by the narrative as a way to maintain the status quo, they're fighting against fate here
Krypto recognises him and his master share a heart. So if he opens his heart to love so will master Krypto good boy
However like his mater, Kryptos ego made him think he's invincible, so his plan failed, and his heart will yearn for a family forever He leaves his mater in rage, only to be punished for trying to break the universal status quo Sad
