today i turn 30, and as it goes, it' time for reflection so here are 30 lessons iâve learned so far 1/

- most of your life is decided 9 months before you were born, but what you do with it is on you your genetics, family, and your environment are set before youâre born, not much you can do about it but once youâre old enough to understand that, itâs all in your hands and you can do the most with it. blaming others wonât save you. you have the responsability to do the best you can with what you have

- you are lucky to be alive, donât waste your life you are not living in a vacuum, you are the last in a 300,000-year lineage. your ancestors survived plagues, war, and famine for thousands of years for you to be alive youâre here because they kept going. you owe it to them, and your unborn descendants, to do your best like it means something

- the 5 people you spend the most time with define you you become who you spend time with. their habits, vocabulary, worldview, lifestyle, ambition⌠high-energy people pull you upward. dull ones slow you choose them carefully, like your life depends on it. because it does. and donât worry about getting rid of the bad ones, youâre the only one who has to live with yourself until you die

- god is real

- manifestation works. you can will anything into reality. the only limits are the laws of physics and the initial conditions. everything else depends on how hard you can see it

- discipline and practice are more important than motivation youâre not always going to feel like it. your feelings will lie to you. build systems so even when you donât feel like doing it, you do it anyway. thatâs how you win, by showing up when others quit and by practicing every day

- your body is your subconscious. how you stand, breathe, walk, eat, talk, move. it all reflects how you think. you donât fix your mind by sitting still and thinking about your mind. you move. you train. you stretch. the body leads, the nervous system follows.

- weak men die, or even worse, stay alive society is full of soft men who pretend to be good. but softness isnât virtue. itâs fragility. and fragility infects everything around it. if youâre not strong, nothing else will hold grow a pair

- you can just do things. you donât need credentials, a degree, or an invitation if you want to write, build, share, fix, create, you can most people are waiting for permission that never comes you donât need it just do it

- writing is the only way to think if you canât write it simply, you donât understand it your mind is fog until you put it into words ON PAPER write every day

- reading is one of the best thing you can do for yourself you can download someoneâs lifetime into your brain in a weekend, you can learn things without experiencing it, you can tap into someone else's life wisdom in a couple of days people who donât read are stuck repeating their own mistakes people who do read can skip 10 years at a time books are the best investment in life (read hard books, written before 2008)

- most people are dumb. theyâre not evil. theyâre not malicious. theyâre just slow, distracted, or unlucky donât hate them. donât waste energy trying to fix them. just donât listen to them and remove them from your life

- stereotypes are real, and if you live by them, life gets easier they arenât racist, sexist, or closed-minded, theyâre just compressed pattern recognition most of the time, they save you time, pain, or death youâre not smarter than 10,000 years of ancestral filtering, and policy can't change that

- combine two things youâre in the top 80% of you donât need to be a genius, geniuses are rare and if you are here, you're likely not one of them. you just need to be above average in two complementary skills (this just takes enough practice) when you put them together, you become world-class by default thatâs how asymmetric success is built

- attention is your most valuable currency what you look at determines what you become what you feed your mind with shapes your desires, identity, and energy guard your inputs like theyâre sacred, because they are, and everyone is competing for your attention

- porn is poison it kills your will, distorts your perception of beauty, and drains your creative energy itâs not harmless. itâs soul-destroying and prostitutes are demons

- lifting is the best antidepressant, discipline builder, and hormone optimizer a strong body demands respect from the world and from your own mind you donât have to be a bodybuilder but you do have to be hard to kill

- food is the best medicine

- seed oils are the worst modern poison they damage your mitochondria, oxidize your cell membranes, and make you fat, inflamed, and slow. they didnât exist a century ago cut them out and never look back
