I generate $150,000+ a month from social media. No pods. No ads. No complex funnel. No 16-hour workdays A simple system that's designed to help people instead of hard-sell them. Here's exactly how:

1. Focus on gaining attention, not a niche Social media isn't divided up into topics like a bookstore. Niching down is stupid. We are multi-topic humans. Get attention ethically then niche down with offers.

2. Extreme focus (to the point of insanity) • One platform • Buyers > Followers • Extreme research • No notifications • Less is more In a world of AI, this is your moat.

3. Act like a leader That's why there's a follow button. • Inspire • Be unfiltered • Help people Don't hate, do politics, or fling sh*t at successful people.

4. Create a basic lead magnet People need a reason to join your email list. And "join my newsletter to get more emails" motivates no one. F off. The best lead magnets: • Case studies • Email courses • AI prompts/GPTs

5. No selling on the timeline If you're posting "DM me to book a call" or "buy my workshop" then you're an ad. We come to social media to avoid ads. Offers should mostly be made to an email list.

6. Understand this fundamental social media principle • We come here to learn why we should do something. To explore our curiosity. • We rarely come here for the how-to. That's what free Youtube is for. Post about the why.

7. Post authoritative content • Make it obvious what you do • Share social proof • Write about topics you've researched deeply Without authority you can't sell sh*t. You'll make offer & leads will say "too expensive" or "no time."

8. Avoid using automation The gurus preach this though. It doesn't work because it takes away your humanity. • Post natively • Respond to comments in real-time • Do live video Show people that you show up... or they'll ignore you.

9. Make the entire process a daily habit None of this stuff works if you do it occasionally. It's daily or nothing. Algorithms will penalize you if you're here one day and not the next. Use a basic content system & it's easy to post daily.

10. Use the 8 types of content people can't resist • Deep dives (nerd out) • Semi-controversial ideas • Your stories. Other people's. • Contrarian takes • Trending topics • Strong beliefs • Predictions • Listicles Alternate between these.

11. Have pure, unhinged obsession If you do it for the money, you'll fail. If you follow your passion, you'll fail. If you follow trends, you'll fail. You need obsession. That gives you intensity.

12. Choose a minimal tech stack Here's mine: • Kit • Stripe • Carrd • Samcart The software you choose won't make you successful.

13. Go where millions of people are • LinkedIn • Substack • X Not Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Medium.

14. Don't sell information like a sucker AI means we will buy less information. Instead... • Sell community • Sell access to you • Sell implementation • Sell in-person events • Sell a service • Sell systems • Sell status But for the love of god don't sell a f*cking info product as your main income. You'll go broke.

Final Thought Posting content on one main platform every day for 365 days will give you leads you can turn into customers. Without attention you have an idea that'll never make money.

I tried to build a digital business online for 5 years and made $0. In the last 7 months, I’ve made $500K. Here’s how: timdenning.com/500k-v2-xc/
