The swampy region of Netherlands, Friesland, schleswig-holstein was host to a population with high WHG ancestry thousands of years after WHG went extinct. It seems quite possible the swamp race adopted Indo-European languages via Corded ware culture prior to being mixed into Bell Beaker culture. This would have been a cultural diffusion model rather than an invasion/replacement
