How I Start Conversations With TOTAL Strangers Without Feeling Awkward It's easier than you think. 1. START WITH “Where are you from?”

No matter where I am or what I am doing, This is the easiest way to warm up people for deeper conversations. From their answer, you can branch out to so many other topics

2. MAKE YOUR INTENTIONS CLEAR If you just wanna have a small talk, It’s better to just be genuine about it and say it. If not, it would be weird.

3. LET GO OF THE NEED TO CONTROL When I started out, I thought I had to get rid of shame, fear, anxiety, etc... The truth is you can't. The feeling will always be there. Don't try to remove the feelings. embrace them. By embracing, you remove those negative feelings

4. Don't let "running out of things to say" control you A big part of letting go is you start to be comfortable with trying to not run out of topics. If you run out of topics to say, just embrace it. Say something like "Funny we just had 2 minutes of talk but I don't know what

5. Don't think of a REPLY This one is HUGE. Once I stop thinking of what to reply, I can finally be in the present moment. At that point, replies will just come in naturally, automatically and easily

6. EMBRACE AWKWARDNESS If the conversation does get awkward, Can you really feel awkward, if you embrace awkwardness? Imagine you're in a world where awkwardness is the goal. You'll be like "Oh our conversation is starting to get awkward as I imagined it would be"

7. STOP PUTTING PEOPLE ON A PEDESTAL Listen, they’re not Jesus embodied in Buddha. They’re just humans. Don’t try to impress them or validate them a lot. Speak your true self.

8. BE MORE OFFENSIVE Many people are playing it too safe. Be more genuine by talking the RAW truth.

9. PRACTISE MAKES PERFECT I understand that talking to strangers is not easy. But the more you do it, it gets easier every time. Trust me.

10. KEEP UPGRADING YOUR SOCIAL SKILLS Remember that social skills are very important. -better connections -better relationships -better opportunities -better conversations -better self esteem Has a lot to do with your social skills. Keep upgrading it.
