Joe Rogan and Elon Musk discuss Joe Biden and Kamala Harris weaponizing the Department of Justice against SpaceX and 𝕏. @elonmusk: "If Kamala wins, we'll see that boycott get stronger, and they'll shut it down. There's no way the Kamala puppet regime allows 𝕏 to exist." @joerogan: "What would they do?" @elonmusk: "They can sick the DOJ on you. For example, the DOJ has been attacking SpaceX for not hiring asylum seekers, even though it is illegal for SpaceX to hire anyone who is not a permanent resident of the United States." @joerogan: "So it’s illegal to hire someone who isn’t an American citizen?" @elonmusk: "SpaceX is considered an advanced weapons technology. So it's covered by international traffic and arms regulations (ITAR) because we make rocket technology that can be used against the United States. It's like if North Korea or Iran got SpaceX rocket technology, they could use that to launch a nuke at America. Under U.S. ITAR law, it is illegal for us to hire anyone who is not a permanent resident. Then there's another law that says if you discriminate against asylum seekers, then you are also breaking the law. So the DOJ, which can only do a small number of big lawsuits every year, launched a giant lawsuit against SpaceX saying we discriminated against asylum seekers." @joerogan: "Can you imagine history looking back at when you watch the robot arms catch that rocket, and you realize this is one of the greatest accomplishments in the history of aerospace, and you see all those people cheering, and it catches it perfectly? Imagine how history is going to look back at the DOJ going after that company."
